On Friday, February 7th, it came to our attention that “SaveThisLife” Microchip Company is no longer in business. You may have seen posts about this on Social Media and we have tried to reach out to the company as well, but have not gotten any responses.
What this all means: if your pet is registered through this company and goes missing, your pet will not be linked to you if found.
We have talked to some other companies, because these microchips are UNIVERSAL, you can choose to re-register the chips into another database via the following links.
Free Registry:
Free Registry Service at www.freechipregistry.com. This is a FREE database that is connected to the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool.

You have to call this company BY PHONE in order to get a discount. This is FREE to do until 2-28-25. After this date, it is a one time fee of $26.99. 1-800-434-2843

There is an initial enrollment fee of $19.99. You can get 1 year Premium Enrollment for FREE. This covers their premium options, which at the conclusion of the year, you can either cancel or continue to pay for those services. You must call in order to get these features. 1-888-466-3242

There is a discount for this company. You get $5.00 off the registration fee if you do it by 2-15-25. Use code: REUNITE5
